"Flipflopping Weather"

We've had some really strange weather so far this year. 2005 is off to an unpredictable start ...

It seems like we've had more snow this year than normal, but we've also had some really warm days that have caught us off guard as well. Twice this week we've been able to wear our summer clothes, but we're back to light jackets now that winter has reminded us that February isn't over yet.

It's nice to have a break from the heating cost when we can though. It'll be nice when spring is here to stay. We've been doing some needed home remodling around here, and the breaks have really been helpful to say the least.

Some of you might have noticed a delay in the resent updates here on Hertford Online. I'm sorry to say that the weather has been playing havock with my health this year. Between having laser surgery for Gloucoma and a nasty respiratory infection that lasted over six weeks, it's been more than impossible to keep up with changes as rapidly as I've intended. Please don't be discouraged though, I'm sure the worse if over with now, and things are going to be running a lot smoother.
