"Hertford morns loss of President"
Hertford joins the country in morning the loss of President Ronald Regan on June 5, 2004 in California.
Through two full terms as our President and countless movies that showed Ronald Regan in his earlier years, Hertford watched as history was made through the years. Not many presidents have empacted our country as much as the terms served through his years with us.
Alzheimers had robbed him of the memories most of us can recall, but I'm sure he's regained all the loss now that he's at peace. My heart goes out to Nancy Regan and the rest of the family that's left behind. My own grandmother is also battling this crippling desease, so I know first hand how hard it is to watch your loves ones struggle with the simplist of task.
Hopefully there will be a cure in the near future, so less people will have to ensure this aweful desease during their twilight years.
