"Bethel Volunteer Fire Department BBQ Pig"
Saturday - January 24 will be the first BBQ Pig Fund Raiser for Bethel Volunteer Fire Department of the 2004 year.
We've always enjoyed the BBQ Pig that Bethel Volunteer Fire Department fixes up, and at a cost of only $6 per platter, you really get your money's worth.
They load each take-out platter with plenty of meat, potato salad, coleslaw, and they even add a package containing the napkin, plastic folk, knife, spoon, and salt & pepper packets.
The new building looks GREAT, and it's so nice to be able to stay in your car and drive around to pick the meals up. There's no calling ahead needed or standing around until the food grows cold.
Each car drives up to pay for the amount of meals requested, then they drive up to the next stop to get the fresh platters as they've been made.
There's always plenty of Volunteer out there to greet each car, and keep the traffic moving. The times are normally 11 AM to 2 PM for the lunch crowd, and 4 PM to 7 PM for the dinner crowd. Anyone interested in coming by and getting their fill is more than welcome.
