"Where to see movies?"

We've been to two of the three choices of movie theaters local to us here.

The one we went to tonight (May 7, 2003) was in Edenton, NC. and is called the Taylor Twin Cinema. We saw X-Men2. There were only three or four other people in the same side of the theater as us, so it was almost like seeing the movie alone.

We talked to the guy on duty when we left and found that they have a website to show what's playing, but he said they don't always have it updated. I've viewed their site at Taylor Twin Cinema and found it's current right now.

We called for the current listings, times, and prices for Taylor Twin Cinema at (252) 482-2676 and got their recording. We also called the Gateway Cinema over in Elizabeth City at (252) 338-3937 for their info, but they didn't have a show that fit into our schedule. The cost on the earlier showings were around $4.00, but for the late show we saw they both cost about $5.50. That's not too bad for an almost private viewing on the big screen, and parking was really easy for the late picture.
