"Snow, Ice, and Blizzard Weather"
I remember seeing snow like this when we lived up north in New Jersey, but this is not what we're used to seeing here in Hertford.
Between the pipes freezing, roads being closed, and stark whiteness when I look out the window, I feel like I've been time wrapped back into the later 60's when this was normal for the month of January. I noticed the outer banks was even snowed under with this storm.
Virginia is only an hour away, but they had two days of snow before we really saw any down here. We're into the third day of the white stuff now, and I'll be glad when it finally melts away. I drove around earlier today and noticed a few snow men. Those might last a day longer than the rest, but the suns been starting to bring color back to the earth again.
We've added a snow gallery to the pages here to show some of the shots. It started with just a few that turned out well enough to post, but we added several more on the 25th, and we might add on tomorrow if there's much left then as well.
